    • Note: Google Analytics will only work after the publication of the website.
  5. Click OK to save the changes.

Some search engines will request a sitemap for analysis and optimization purposes. You can download a sitemap in the Homepage Designer.

How to download your sitemap:

  1. Go to the Settings tab and then the Advanced tab.
  2. Click Download sitemap.
  3. Click OK to download the file Seitemap.xml

To prevent search engines from indexing certain pages of your site, you can add instructions in the "robots.txt" file. This file is stored in the client account in which your page is published.

How to prevent search engines from indexing certain areas of your site:

  1. Go to the Settings tab and then the Advanced tab.
  2. Click Edit on the link "robots.txt".
  3. Enter the instructions in the input field. Enter each statement on a new line.
Example: to completely prevent search engine robots and crawlers from indexing the content of the directory
/private and the file /my_secret.html, add the following lines:
User-agent: * Disallow: / private / Disallow: / my_secret.html
