Serendipity Blog
Serendipity is a blog publishing software which is available for free, it is based on PHP and uses MySQL as its database. Serendipity has the advantage that it can be easily extended by installing additional plug-ins. There are plug-ins for podcasting, galleries or multilingualism. Serendipity has a so-called "Shared-option", allowing you to operate multiple blogs at the same address. In addition Serendipity can also be used as a Content Management System (CMS), after a plugin has been installed to manage static pages.
There are more than 120 plug-ins that are Serendipity's biggest advantage. With one click you can add functionality to your blogs and personalize them even further. With more than 80 easy-to-install templates which allow you to adapt the design of Serendipity in a few minutes.

Installing Serendipity:In the Control Panel select the software module and choose Serendipity. This opens an installation wizard, which allows you to install or uninstall Serendipity. At first you need to select a version that will be installed and then click Next. To install the files to your hosting package you have to enter the desired path and click Next again.
After the files have been copied to your hosting package you have to click on the link to start the configuration. Once you have completed the basic configuration go back to the software module, click Next and complete the installation by clicking Exit Wizard.
Uninstalling Serendipity:
To remove this software, you need to position your cursor over the Action button and select Delete. Follow the step-by-step instructions.
