As a Linux System Administrator, your responsibilities will include the installation, maintenance and further development of our Linux hosting infrastructure and network environment.
Your tasks:
- Administration of existing Linux systems (web and mail servers, firewall etc.)
- Monitoring and ensuring the stability of the network and server infrastructure
- Installation and configuration of new systems
- Performance analysis and optimization
- Implementation of new technologies
What do we expect for these tasks:
- Profound knowledge in the administration of Linux systems (Apache, SSH, Bash etc.)
- Experience with virtualization (KVM) and monitoring solutions (Icinga)
- Good scripting skills (Bash, Python)
- Experience with network technologies and databases
- Independent way of working and experience in development in a team
- Relevant professional experience as Linux system administrator
- Good command of written and spoken English
Here’s what you can expect:
- Full-time position (38.5 hours)
- Minimum salary from € 50,000 gross per year (ST1 experience level), depending on your qualifications (incl. vacation and Christmas bonus)
