.eco domain renewal

.eco domains will be renewed automatically, if there is enough money in the account. You will be informed by email 90, 60, 30 and 14 days before the current registration period ends. In this email you will also be informed about the currently available credit balance and, if this is not sufficient for the renewal, about the required remaining amount. You can change the email address to which the notification is sent in the Customer Zone.


.eco domain termination

If you no longer wish to renew a domain, you can terminate it in the Customer Zone.


What happens if I do not respond to the renewal notification for my .eco domain?

If there is not enough credit available, your .eco domain cannot be renewed automatically. In this case, the .eco domain will be suspended as soon as the registration period expires. From this point on it is no longer accessible and cannot be used for websites, emails, etc. It is still possible to renew a suspended .eco domain. 30 days after the expiration of the registration period, you can renew your domain by paying the renewal fee and the recovery costs (undelete).


When will my .eco domain be deleted?

If the suspension period ends after the .eco domain has already expired, the domain will be deleted. However, it is still possible to restore deleted .eco domains. For the first 30 days after deletion, a restore fee will be charged in addition to the renewal fee.
