.gift domain renewal

.gift domains will be renewed automatically, if there is enough money in the account. You will be informed by email 90, 60, 30 and 14 days before the current registration period ends. In this email you will also be informed about the currently available credit balance and, if this is not sufficient for the renewal, about the required remaining amount. You can change the email address to which the notification is sent in the Customer Zone.


.gift domain termination

If you no longer wish to renew a domain, you can terminate it in the Customer Zone.


What happens if I do not respond to the renewal notification for my .gift domain?

If there is not enough credit available, your .gift domain cannot be renewed automatically. In this case, the .gift domain will be suspended as soon as the registration period expires. From this point on it is no longer accessible and cannot be used for websites, emails, etc. It is still possible to renew a suspended .gift domain. 30 days after the expiration of the registration period, you can renew your domain by paying the renewal fee and the recovery costs (undelete).


When will my .gift domain be deleted?

If the suspension period ends after the .gift domain has already expired, the domain will be deleted. However, it is still possible to restore deleted .gift domains. For the first 30 days after deletion, a restore fee will be charged in addition to the renewal fee.
